First Annual Cord Blood Champion Luncheon is a success
On May 5 and 6, 2015 The SLCBB hosted over 35 RNs from participating hospitals for the first annual Cord Blood Champion Luncheon. Each RN attending volunteered to be the Cord Blood Champion for their hospital. They will help to educate patients and staff on the importance of Cord Blood donation as well as the proper collection procedures.
They enjoyed an educational and fun filled day as well as a behind the scenes look at the SLCBB. They learned a lot as did we. The nurses in attendance offered us valuable insight into their everyday occurrences and experiences with Cord Blood donation. It was a collaborative effort to make improvements where necessary.
We are thankful for their time and attendance to this event and their efforts in the field. Their support of our mission means so much!
